The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QHSE Engineer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract at Loyang Crescent, Singapore / Remote. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, Corporate and Client requirements, and regulatory obligations within oil & gas operations. The QHSE Engineer to provide technical expertise, promote a safety-first culture, and drive continuous improvement in operational performance.

Duties/Responsibilities

• QHSE Management Systems

o Implement and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 standards

o Assist in developing QHSE plans, procedures, and policies aligned with Corporate and Project requirements

o Ensure compliance with local regulatory and international oil & gas HSE standards

• Health, Safety & Environment

o Conduct risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and job safety analyses (JSA)

o Monitor workplace activities to ensure safe practices and adherence to PTW (Permit to Work) systems

o Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions

o Promote safety awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions

• Quality Assurance & Control

o Support inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards

o Monitor vendor/supplier quality performance and conduct audits as required

o Participate in quality reviews, NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management, and continuous improvement programs

• Audits & Compliance

o Plan and conduct internal audits for QHSE management systems

o Prepare QHSE performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)

o Ensure compliance with corporate, client, and government requirements

• Training & Development

o Deliver QHSE training, induction programs, and competency assessments

o Coach and mentor operational staff on QHSE best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline

• Minimum 3–5 years QHSE experience in the oil & gas industry (offshore preferred

• Knowledge of international HSE standards (API, OSHA, NFPA, ISO)

• Strong knowledge of risk management, incident investigation, and emergency response

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
