**MAIN PURPOSE**
The Talent Acquisition Manager plays an integral part in driving Shiseido APAC (SAPAC) and Shiseido Singapore recruitment strategy within the hub and spoke HR model ensuring alignment with business objectives and local recruitment needs. This role is responsible to roll out and be responsible for the full cycle of recruiting process to create strong talent pipelines for Shiseido’s current and future hiring needs for Shiseido Asia Pacific and Shiseido Singapore. This role will be based in SAPAC RHQ and supports the talent acquisition efforts across these markets.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Strategic Talent Acquisition**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with the Shiseido APAC and Shiseido Singapore talent acquisition needs.
- Partner closely with HRBPs to conduct workforce planning to anticipate hiring needs and build proactive talent pipelines.
- Develop partnerships with universities, professional associations and industry groups to strengthen talent pipelines
- Organise and participate in career fairs, networking events and recruitment marketing campaigns
- Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance Shiseido APAC (SAPAC) and Shiseido Singapore visibility in the market
**Recruitment Operations**
- Oversee talent acquisition within the Shiseido APAC (SAPAC) and Shiseido Singapore entities for roles such as brand marketing, digital marketing and all corporate function roles
- Leverage digital recruitment platforms and social media (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) to attract and engage talent.
**Stakeholder & Vendor Management**
- Partner with key stakeholders to align hiring needs with business goals.
- Train and coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices and talent retention strategies
**Compliance & Diversity Hiring**
- Ensure recruitment practices adhere to Singapore Tripartite Fair Employment Laws and reflect Shiseido’s culture and practices
- Implement structured interview processes to ensure fairness and mitigate hiring bias
- Participate in ad-hoc duties and related projects as assigned
**Employer Branding (APAC Region)**
- Develop employer branding strategies focusing on driving strong employer brand for APAC region
- Introduce new recruitment technology to improve hiring process, driving continuous improvement with automation and increase usage adoption across APAC markets
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in a beauty or FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge in recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Up to date with current recruitment trends to develop robust recruitment strategies
- Strong network within the beauty industry
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and social recruiting platforms
