NorthEast Singapore Pathlight School Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) Full time

Responsible for all finance and accounting functions for Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) including social enterprises with the following key responsibilities:
Monthly Financial Close & Reporting
- Responsible for month end closing process including preparation of journals, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules and performing GL review
- Prepare and work with internal stakeholders on monthly Financial Reports (including consolidation) for the management
- Responsible for group consolidation, annual audited financial statements and annual report requirements
- Manage grant utilization and grant submission reports to the relevant funding agencies
- Review and ensure tax compliance for corporate tax, GST etc

External & Internal Audit
- Liaise with both external and internal auditors on audit requirements
- Lead the team in preparation for audit
- Review of audit schedules

Internal Controls
- Review and update policies and SOPs to comply with recommended practices
- Work with HODs and staff on SOP adherence

Budget & Forecast Process
- Work with all department heads on the budget requirements and preparation
- Consolidation and submission of budget to management for approval
- Monthly tracking and analysis of actual against budget, including cashflow forecast
- Proactively work with all department heads on quarterly budget tracking reports

Others
- Assist in banking and treasury matters
- Drive and support both finance and business process improvements
- Ad‐hoc tasks/projects as assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- A Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications like ACCA
- At least 8 years of accounting experience with full set of accounts
- Be able to work independently and has good communication skills and analytical skills
- Has strong interpersonal skills, a team player and have strong sense of responsibility
- IT proficient and familiar with Microsoft suite of products
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
- Experience in a voluntary welfare organisation is an advantage
