**Your role**
- Role Name: Reconciliation Specialist- Perform operation activity related to Depot, Nostro and Inter-system reconciliation across various products and business areas
- Investigate, allocate or resolve all the breaks appearing in the reconciliation report as per standard operating procedures
- Ensure accuracy when matching and allocating breaks to the various departments
- Collaborate with business and IT teams for User Acceptance Testing’s and sign-offs
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with both internal and external clients
- Seeks to understand the client’s needs, provides solutions and maintains relationships
- Shows an awareness of products and services from other business divisions relevant to own work area
- Maintain process SOPs to ensure all changes are being captured diligently with appropriate version controls.
- Acts within professional, legal, ethical and risk boundaries and guidelines and escalates potential excesses or issues
- Maintain KPI's and SLA's as per business definition. Hold client service meetings where service level queries, issues, and progress are discussed
- Hold Risk Review meetings with clients, supported by Business Risk Managers to discuss any open risk issues
- Effective contribution on various ongoing Project initiatives, like Automations, Strategic Reporting’s, and Process Excellence. It includes learning tools like Alteryx, Self-service reporting etc.
- Work on a rotational shift basis to cover committed service delivery hours.
- Perform regular review of activities undertaken by the team to identify duplication or inefficiencies; thereafter work with relevant teams to resolve the issues
- Continuous learning to meet business demands

**Your team**
- DI Ops Reconciliations aka “GRU - Global Reconciliation Utility”
- We support the verification of UBS books and records, by reconciling internally held data against external data sources (agent banks, custodians, exchanges) and reconciling data between UBS internal systems (e.g., Front Office vs Back Office).
- We operate 3 strategic reconciliation platforms from 3 locations - Hyderabad, Switzerland, and Singapore
- We process ~12bn records / annum and serve clients in every division of UBS, across 29 countries.
- Specifically, for this role, you will work as part of the DI Ops Reconciliations Team in Singapore, alongside other UBS Managers, overseeing the service delivery with a workforce of ~100 FTE

**Your expertise**
- Experience in Data Operations, Data Reconciliations (Nostro and Depot will be an advantage)
- Good understanding of various Swift payment and statements
- Total of 0-5+ years of relevant experience
- Working or basic knowledge of automation tools e.g. Alteryx, Python, Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Critical thinking & Data Analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
