Proof manages exclusive distribution of a portfolio of 600+ craft spirits, cocktail ingredients, bar tools, and glassware across South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

**About the Role**

As the Head of Finance, you will oversee all regional financial operations, including financial reporting, control processes, budgeting, and team management, with a particular focus on ensuring financial compliance and supporting strategic business objectives across our APAC entities.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the provision of all financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, customer and brand performance, operating costs, and working capital metrics.
- Regularly review and enhance reporting processes, ensuring insights facilitate business improvement and align with strategic goals.

2. Financial and Operational Control
- Establish and enforce adequate financial and operational controls, including authority delegation, investment decisions, cost commitments, pricing control, and compliance with purchase orders.
- Deliver compliance with all group and external requirements, ensuring alignment with regional and global financial regulations.

3. Audit and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all local statutory reporting and filing obligations.
- Manage the end-to-end audit process across regional entities, working closely with external auditors to achieve timely and accurate audit completion.

4. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Business Planning
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial plans with company objectives.
- Provide in-depth financial assessments of business proposals, delivering robust commercial and financial support to the business.

5. Process Improvement and Financial Controls
- Continuously review and develop reporting, analysis, and control processes to enhance efficiency and support business growth.
- Implement and monitor financial control frameworks, safeguarding company assets and maintaining rigorous standards.

6. Team Management and Development
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring team members meet individual accountabilities and support broader financial goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the finance function.

7. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the key liaison for all local financial stakeholder relationships, including audit, banking, and company secretariat.
- Ensure effective FX cover for foreign currency transactions and manage regional cash flow requirements.

8. Regional Consolidation
- Oversee the financial operations of regional entities in Asia, consolidating financial data and ensuring accurate reporting, including management fees.
- Collaborate with regional and local business units to support financial performance, providing consistent and comprehensive analysis across entities.
- Over 12 years of finance experience, with extensive experience in controllership and finance business partnering
- Experience in a distribution business, preferably in FMCG
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting financial information clearly to senior executives.
- Proactive in identifying process improvements and implementing effective financial controls.
- Proficient in financial modelling and familiar with systems like Oracle NetSuite.
