Team Introduction The Finance Accounts Receivable Team is in charge of the full O2C process, from credit risk assessment to contract review, payment terms assignment, billing queries and adjustments (including rebates and incentives), account suspensions and re-activations, overdue management and reduction, amicable collection and legal action, bad debt accruals, and write-offs. We are looking for a dedicated Collections Analyst to help us support our business growth. Global Revenue Management is part of the ByteDance Finance function that is responsible for revenue management and accounting for monetization of all ByteDance products via the following processes: running the Order to Cash ("OTC") cycle, establishing and integrating business-finance platforms together and revenue accounting. **Responsibilities**: - Focus on the advertising customer portfolio and directly responsible for collection management in APAC. - Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt, meeting and exceeding the goals for the overdue and bad debt ratios. - Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately. - Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship and ensure that invoices are paid by their due dates. Work together with cross functional teams in case there're any billing disputes. - Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the leaders for insights and visibility into collection management situations. - Work closely with sales teams for any collection issues, risks and solution promotion in APAC. **Qualifications**: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above in the accounting, finance, business administration or a similar field. - Minimum 5 years of working experience dealing with collections. - Solid knowledge in the collections practice in the APAC market. - Familiar with the workflow of debt collection business and proficient in certain debt collection skills. Preferred Qualification - Prior experience in working in the internet industry.
