**_Job Family Definition:_**

**Solution Architect**: Responsible for the end-to-end technical design of the complete solution which addresses the customer’s business problems, needs, and opportunities, including both the company products and services plus all necessary third-party components (e.g., software, hardware, consulting). Is aligned to a single or small group of related solutions (such as cloud, big data, mobility, etc.) that are aligned with the company's corporate strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Providing thought leadership on technology direction and focus aligning to business strategy for Asia Pacific Region.
- Partnering with WW Presales, APAC enablement, business units, and services teams to develop and execute curriculum for all APAC HPE Presales and Channel Partner Presales communities.
- Partnering with sales and presales teams across the Asia Pacific geo, helping executive-level decision-makers of our customers to understand HPE Products, Solutions and the GreenLake value message at the business outcome and IT architecture levels.
- Proactively working with our Account Teams to identify and develop new sales opportunities and support them for the wider team that would include a range of offerings in cloud, edge, data and services.
- Tracks activity throughout the sales cycle using specific tools and resources and shares best practices with countries’ peers and partners.
- Identify and work with top ISVs which are aligned to the strategic plan by team building and developing of joint value proposition, including participating in go-to-market campaigns, speaking at training sessions, and keynoting at customer events.
- Participate with countries in the preparation and presentation of proposals for select strategic accounts as required.
- Engage with customer executives to identify pain points and opportunities to deliver value and then translate them into solutions.
- Champing the Presales related event content planning and execution with enablement function.
- Acting as a representative for the Asia Pacific region to GreenLake and HPE Worldwide.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Unique mastery of technical skills in the assigned solution set and recognized as an authority with leading-edge and emerging technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of company offerings, strategic initiatives, current trends, competitor products, and strategies within the assigned solution set.
- Excellent project management skills or experience with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.
- Mastery in executive written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in English and local languages.
- Deep knowledge of different types of partners and products, relevant to the assigned solution set, understanding of company’s regional 'Go to Market' strategy.
- Knowledge of company business and technical tools and standard CRM systems and tools
- Experience participating in solution configurations/ overall architecture design and the creation and positioning of PoCs and performance benchmark testing to meet customer requirements.
