[What the role is]

MANAGER, VEHICLE QUOTA AND REGISTRATION

[What you will be working on]

You will report to the Deputy Director, Vehicle Registration & Quota and oversee the day-to-day operations of all matters related to the vehicle quota and registration of motor vehicles, including e-scooters, in Singapore. You will conduct regular reviews of operational policies and vehicle schemes and formulate strategies for the effective implementation of works relating to vehicle ownership and registration, collection of vehicle taxes and fees, refunds and schemes, bidding and allocation of Certificates of Entitlement and vehicle registration numbers.

You will need to liaise with representatives from external parties involved in the registration of vehicles and support internal stakeholders, e.g. Policy, Legal, Finance and Investigations on any relevant matters pertaining to vehicle quota & registration.

You must be able to manage complex feedback/ complaints/ appeals from customers and guide/assess staff’s evaluations on such issues. This includes providing advice to public and external agencies on vehicle quota & registration matters and schemes.

You will be expected to manage your team’s performance and ensure quality deliverables by guiding staff with their assigned tasks, review their performance and their training needs.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- At least 5 years of operations management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- High cognitive and analytical ability.
- Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic operations environment.
