**Operations Director**

**Salary: $8K- 12K + Bonus**

**Summary**

The Operations Director will be responsible for Event.Drives the execution of the event plans, dealing with vendors and venue operators to ensure operational requirements of the events are followed. Also ensures events comply with local Workplace Safety and Health regulations. Few examples of the S-lite projects are Singapore Grand Prix, National Day Parade, Singapore Air shows, and Many national large level events.

Operations Director are expected to be organised and resourceful, and possesses excellent resource management skills to support and troubleshoot the team's daily operations. Has good communication and interpersonal skills to maintain good rapport with vendors, supporting efficient service delivery.

Operations Director works occasionally over evenings, weekends and public holidays to support events. Event Operations Director also travels frequently between the office and the event sites to oversee the planning and execution of the events.

**Key responsibilities in this role includes the following**:

- Work cross functionally with head of marketing, head of finance and etc to maximise the revenue and profitability of the business approve vendors to fulfil project deliverables within project budget.
- Approve vendors' project deliverables that are up to quality standards.
- Collaborate with all event stakeholders to drive project delivery.
- Direct events in alignment with local workplace safety and health regulations.
- Drive execution of event logistics plans to support project plans.
- Drive execution of fast and accurate participants' registrations.
- Establish and upkeep strategic partnerships with external parties.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and market intelligence and be-proactive.
- Collaborate with partners on co-op advertising efforts & events
- Foster strong media relations & generate media coverage
- Lead management of environmental issues management of security threats during events. Manage escalated on-site issues with related vendors.
- Negotiate with key vendors to secure service contracts within event budget.
- Review crowd control and evacuation plans with venue operations to ensure compliance, event proposals to ensure local security, workplace safety and health regulations are followed.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience, a keen understanding of the Event sector and the ability to build events / features around the key issues
- Track record of leading teams and developing key talent
- Action-oriented, operating with high urgency and prioritization
- Ability to work under pressure.
- A high attention to detail.
- A creative approach to dealing with day-to-day issues.
