Operation Director
Operations Director is responsible for the overall performance of the companies by ensuring new products introduction and fulfillment of customer's order are executed in a timely manner.
The senior executive also will oversee the company's P&L and fabrication activities, they manage costs and expenses through process efficiencies. Must understand and use effective leadership principles to get the job done. You need excellent communication skills and the ability to work with customers, suppliers and employees across all levels, including sales and marketing, engineering, maintenance and human resources.
Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organizationDeveloping and executing new growth directives, keeping track of the company's revenue margins and conduct budget reviews to maximize profitsMaintain working relationships with all other department directors to ensure effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.Job duties require you to lead in the planning, analyze and work schedules, solve production problems, handle quality issues and manage customer interactions.Managing procurement and resource allocation activities to ensure the proper materials, equipment tools to meet production demands and cost reductions.Direct and control production to ensure that finished goods of the required standard are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times.Employee management in area of responsibility and ensure labour levels meet planned requirementsDrive improvement, set and monitor company objectives for functional area. Providing monthly reporting and performance review to the company's Directors Carry out quarterly and annual Performance reviews for direct reportsRepresentation for the company for Head Office's Board of Director MeetingGive general and specific direction to Supervision in order to meet short term and long term goalsConsolidate metrics packs, forecast, budget and strategic data of OperationsResponsible for forecasting, budgeting and strategic plan of OperationsResponsible for variance, to explain changes and variances in forecasts and budgets to management.Overseeing client support servicesEvaluate overall company performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics.Representing as the company's main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.
