**About the role**
Juniper Networks has an immediate opening for a team-oriented, highly effective and self-motivated individual to support the APAC Technical Solutions Consultant (TSC) team.
Technical solution consultants are part of the Juniper Go-To-Market (GTM) team and have primary responsibility of partnering with sales engineers, account managers, PLM and engineering to drive technical sales activities, with a focus on those opportunities involving new products and emerging technologies. Technical solution consultants possess in-depth, hands-on expertise with Juniper's products, solutions as well as other opensource or 3rd party technologies which complement Juniper’s vision for networking. Technical solution consultants have an excellent knowledge of the broader industry and act as a trusted advisors to our customers, educating them on evolving trends in networking and how Juniper’s products and solutions can help them achieve their business goals.
For this specific Chief Architect, ASEAN+TW role, we are looking for an exceptional technical leader who is responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in Enterprise accounts within ASEAN+TW region.
An overall objective of this role is to build a close engagement with Customer executives and technical leaders to understand their business priorities and guide their infrastructure, security and network architecture decisions to support their business goals as part of Juniper’s account and GTM strategy
- Act as a technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customers. Technical emphasis is on future state architecture, tactical milestones and systems integration.
- Makes technical and sales presentations to customer's solution and architecture teams and senior management.
- Assists in the development of responses to customer requests and proposals as required.
- Conducts research, answers questions, and removes objections that arise in these engagements.
**General Purpose of the Job**
- Provide presales consultancy for Enterprise accounts, working closely with other Enterprise business development and sales functions to help meet revenue, customer satisfaction requirements and develop customer understanding of Juniper’s portfolio.
- Own the technology relationships with CxO at Enterprise architecture level while providing technology thought leadership.
- Collaborate with both internal and customer stakeholders to drive adoption of Juniper portfolio within the customer’s long term technology roadmap.
**Main Areas of Responsibility**
- Works with ASEAN+TW Enterprise Sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific roadmaps and migration strategy, planning and implementation
- Drive customer executive engagement and customer relationship via a consultative architecture approach and proposing solutions that offer significant business value
- Develop and maintain executive level relationships with major Enterprise customers and relevant partners within the account ecosystem
- Articulate the business value and benefits to customers of the various technology choices to ensure strong linkages between business objectives and proposed solutions.
- Develop technical architectures for customers and incubate the development of new opportunities based on these architectures
- Constantly engage with Enterprise business and technical leaders to understand their business priorities and influence their network architecture decisions to align both with their business goals and Juniper’s account strategy with existing and future technology
- Support and technically lead the new solutions’ demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to key Enterprise customers
- Assist account teams in responding to RFP’s and RFI’s, especially those related to new Enterprise technologies and solutions
- Interface constructively within the account teams and other teams such as professional services, marketing, partners’ organisations to deliver relevant solutions to the customer
- Work closely with Enterprise account leadership to set and execute on account strategy. Participate in business planning, align strategic direction, goals and initiatives
- Collation of market intelligence and customer feedback to the technical strategy, solution and product capabilities, in order to guide our product direction and solutions to align with the customer’s business/network priorities
