**Job purpose**

Desk assistant to Credit sales and trading team to effectively manage processes across the client and trade lifecycles as the team builds out its presence in Fixed Income Credit across Asia to compliment US, UK and European offering and support the Global / EMEA expansion.

**General Duties**
- Support Institutional Fixed Income sales and trading team as they broaden the product mix into existing global client base, adding local expertise and new regional clients to leverage and maximise existing offering from US and Pan-Euro platform.
- Relationship management, internal and external.
- Point person for onboarding - managing process and delivery into relevant stakeholder groups.
- Interact with clients and support functions to enhance sales coverage and client experience.
- Assist in marketing Fixed Income inventory to institutional customer base and collating market colour and macro/micro newsflow for dissemination.
- Assist desk in providing tailored solutions to deepen existing relationships, drive new client opportunities and grow profitability.
- Promote the firm’s products and services. Assist in marketing and cross sell of broader StoneX capabilities.
- Act as liaison between operations and the client contact to ensure smooth settlement of trades - Trade Life Cycle understanding and international settlement Knowledge.
- Ad-hoc project involvement.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders - compliance, regulatory reporting, front office, regional offices, and operations.
- Administrative functions including client events, client reviews, data analytics.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Understanding of Front, Middle and Back office functions & interdependencies.
- Understanding of Fixed Income product mix
- Understanding of the regulatory environment and the impacts of regulatory change on this business and its client base.
- Working within a team structure, but able to operate autonomously to assist with initiatives that provide solutions to client base.

**Qualification and Skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Business, Finance or Mathematics preferred.
- Interest in financial markets.
- Prepared to sit relevant regulatory exams.
- 12-18 months experience in a relevant financial services role preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
