Head Proposal Management, Asia

**What it's about**

Partners Group’s proposal management team works closely with client relationship professionals to coordinate and write responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and develop other fund marketing materials (DDQs, pitchbooks, etc.). The team is the central hub for marketing content and is responsible for delivering a high volume of work product to support fundraising for the firm’s flagship funds, customized mandates and private wealth evergreen products.

The Head Proposal Management Asia will be based in our Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore and is responsible for leading the Singapore and Manila-based proposal management teams. We are looking for a seasoned leader who has experience managing RFP teams for an investment management firm, preferably with significant private markets exposure.

The role will have the following responsibilities:

- Take full ownership of the Asia team’s work product and service catalogue to ensure seamless delivery of persuasive investment proposals and other marketing content to the global client relationship team
- Oversee all aspects of team management, including responsibility for workflow management and resource allocation, quality control (i.e., via peer review and coaching), team budget, talent development, mentoring junior professionals, hiring and onboarding new joiners, and managing the annual performance and development process
- Collaborate closely with the US-based proposal management team and Head Proposal Management Americas to ensure global coverage and coordinate workflow and resources across the team.
- Entrepreneurial, service-oriented mindset to help enable the sales team in their fundraising efforts; client-focused “go the extra mile” attitude
- Continuously build out the service catalogue and toolkit of the proposal management team to enhance quality, productivity and efficiency of its output, e.g., maintaining and developing the content database, exploring AI / ML solutions, etc.
- Ensure consistent training regime and knowledge development to ensure team members have a strong grasp of the firm’s products, asset classes, investment approach and other aspects of the corporate platform to effectively understand and respond to client requests

**What we expect**
- University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance or economics
- 7-10 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or similar with experience managing a team of proposal writers / content marketers
- Excellent knowledge of the investment management space, specific experience in private markets is highly desired
- Ability and desire to train, coach, and develop junior team members
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a desire to learn and succeed
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong attention to detail in editing documents is key.
- Must work well in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills to engage senior professionals and liaise with global teams across the firm.
- Project management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard is essential
- Passionate and entrepreneurial to bring in your own initiatives and improve existing content and processes
