Heron Technology is a Singapore-headquartered technology company with a strong track record in providing cyber security services and products since 2017. As part of our business growth plan, we are recruiting Sales Consultants to spearhead the sales of our Cyber Security Services.
The Sales Consultant will report to the Head of Cyber Security business unit. You will provide and advice on appropriate solutions for assigned qualified lead in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Critical to success are the drive to succeed and results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Present, promote and sell services to customers in collaboration with marketing and technical colleagues
- Understand customers’ needs and perform cost-benefit analysis of customers to meet their needs
- Establish, grow and update sales pipeline in assigned customer segments
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Respond to customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort within the sales team, pre-sales and service delivery teams
- Monitor market developments, opportunities and threats
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of cyber security threat environment, best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Qualifications:
- Experience in both inside and outside sales will be advantageous
- Experience in a managed services provider environment will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of the cyber security industry and the continuous development of cyber security threats, risks and solutions
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive professional relationships
- Strong communication skills in English, and knowledge of other languages will be an advantage
- Highly motivated and target driven with passion for sales
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity and strong ethics in business relationships
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers’ needs
- Able to multi-task and deal with ambiguity, common in a small business environment
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
