Our client is a growing global venture capital fund investing in startups across South East Asia, North America, Europe, China, and Africa.

As the Associate (Investments), you support deal negotiation and execution, including building financial models, preparing investment memos, and board work.

You need to know both the technology and science behind the company and the business case. You will build investment theses, including sourcing new investments and monitoring internal deal pipelines.

You are people first. You are a Founder's first call, with deep empathy for the founder's journey and genuine personal investment in helping build global companies. As a networker, you will attend industry and ecosystem events and conferences.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Prior experience in VC or PE, investment banking, for management consulting firm.
- Highly analytical with an interest in sifting through and identifying trends within, large volumes of data and a basic understanding of financial modelling and accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a point of view and build networks/relationships.
- Self-starter that has the desire to be part of a fast-developing, entrepreneurial project.
