**Responsibilities**:
Project Title

Product Development Engineering for Data Center Group APU & Redeon Technologies Group GPU for Performance and Quality/ Reliability

Description of Project / Objectives

Project Overview:
To be involved in the development cycle of state of the art of AMD APU & GPU in Product Development and Reliability Engineering in the lead up to the successful launch of latest AMD APU & GPU product into mass production in achieving Customer Quality.

Main project scopes, stating tasks/roles expected of the Intern / Deliverables:

- Development of Product Engineering and Reliability Test & Qualification requirements
- Reliability Qualification & Test Methodology of AMD next generation APU/GPU product.
- Planning, Enablement & Execution of Test, Extraction & Plotting of volume test data, and Analysis of Big Data (use of Machine Learning) focus on product performance, reliability, and quality engineering.
- Works on related projects or assignments as required to help with product development engineering activities in improving productivity and efficiency.

What the Coop can expect to learn from this project / other remarks:

- Overview of AMD APU/GPU Architecture and AMD product test methodology
- Gain hands-on experience in Advanced APU/GPU Test platforms
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System Level Test (SLT).
- Learn the know-how and gain insights into How to Qualify & Test for Quality and Reliability of complex and advanced semiconductor Integrated Circuit processor product.
- Volume or Big Data analysis (use of Machine Learning)

Skills Required / Technical Skills
- PC/ Unix Scripting and Programming skills (Perl/ Python /C++ is preferred).
- Some Knowledge of Semiconductor Process Technology
- Spreadsheets/ Plotting & graphing or Big Data Analysis or some knowledge of Machine Learning is added advantage.
- Familiar with AMD GPU architecture knowledge is added advantage.
