Senior Host

Tanjong Beach Club was conceived to celebrate our tropical weather and foster a local beach culture. The restaurant, bar, club and retail space sits on Singapore’s best strip of sand in Sentosa, providing an urban getaway where beach-goers retreat to savour coastal cuisine and artisanal cocktails while lounging on daybeds by the pool or relaxing indoors. The experience is enhanced by panoramic views of the sea and underscored by upbeat music. The Beach Shop retails carefully curated products and house-branded merchandise, advocating an idyllic beach life.

We are looking for a passionate, service-driven individual to fill the role of a Host for our establishment. The role requires an individual with outgoing personality who strives to provide our guests with top quality service. The Host is also an integral part of our Front of House team that leaves guests of Tanjong Beach Club with an awesome experience which will see them returning time and again.

You’ll be in-charge of:

- Ensuring there are no overlapped reservations, and that tables are ready before the guests arrive
- Responding to any guest enquiries and requests
- Warmly welcoming every guest that enters the restaurant
- Addressing guests by name, recognize any special occasions mentioned and pass on the information to the team to personalise guests’ experience
- Assigning guests to designated seats as per seating plan
- Taking initiative to check on guests regularly to make sure that their needs are met
- Requesting guests for their feedback and relay feedback to the manager on duty
- Assisting in building and maintaining a strong guest profile database, keeping the information updated regularly
- Engaging with guests in the profile database whenever there are changes in the menu, special promotions, events and birthdays
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Manager

What we’re looking for:

- Skillful at communicating with guests and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner
- Good command of spoken English
- Outgoing, presentable and service orientated
