My client is a Global Social Media Giant and they are looking for an Expert in Social Media Policy, Regulations and Compliance to ensure that the community is safer for all users.
**THIS IS A 1 YEAR CONTRACT POSITION**
**Responsibilities**
- Develop programs to drive policies and measures based on overall user escalations and prevent future issues.
- Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data and escalation trends to develop improvements to the overall escalation processes and provide recommendations for process, policy and product improvements.
- Scale the overall user escalations program intelligently to ensure a seamless experience for users who report content on the platform.
- Address various trust and safety policies in line with real time escalations and support with process improvement.
- Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development.
**Requirements**:
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale risk, regulatory or trust and safety operations/programs with a technology company.
- Broad understanding of Internet Community Standards
- Experience in internet safety or equivalent environment
- Strong project management and operations skills
- Proficiency in tools such as SQL and Advanced Excel to drive analytics and reporting
- The role will require tight coordination with global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Community Operations and others to problem solve and develop solutions.
