Assistant Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedAssistant Relationship Managerto support our Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality service to our corporate clients. The ideal candidate will assist in credit-related matters, client onboarding, portfolio management, and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Managers in administrative tasks and transaction execution.
- Assist in preparing new credit applications, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and company evaluation.
- Draft and submit credit reports with detailed analysis and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
- Support the documentation process for new deals, including coordination of legal documentation.
- Facilitate corporate account openings and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Manage and monitor the credit portfolio to maintain healthy client relationships and mitigate risk.
- Conduct annual credit reviews and Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews in line with compliance requirements.
- Prepare periodic reports for submission to both the Branch and Head Office.
- Perform additional duties and ad hoc assignments as directed by supervisors.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in commercial or corporate banking.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and industry data.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Proactive team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and business partners.
