We are partnering exclusively with a leading global asset manager to appoint a APAC Head of Fund and Client Mandate for the Asia Pacific region. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of fund, client, and regulatory reporting across multiple APAC jurisdictions. The successful candidate will be part of the APAC Platform Services management team, playing a pivotal role in building strong production teams, overseeing outsourced service providers, and driving operational excellence. This individual will be instrumental in shaping the operating model, transitioning projects into BAU operations, defining KPIs, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service to clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all fund and client reporting activities across APAC with accountability for timely and accurate delivery. Oversee client interactions including reporting, due diligence visits, quarterly investment reporting, queries, and performance reporting. Manage relationships with key third-party vendors (transfer agency, fund accounting, custody, and administrators) within a predominantly outsourced model. Ensure delivery of fund-related reporting, such as prospectuses, fact sheets, digital platforms, financial statements, and daily NAVs/pricing. Establish and monitor KPIs, MI metrics, and operational controls to drive performance, reduce risk, and strengthen oversight. Act as a senior escalation point for issue resolution and stakeholder engagement across the region. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Maintain oversight of regulatory compliance obligations, client money compliance, and governance processes. Support the handling of new product launches and contribute to the evolution of fund-related services. Contribute to strategic planning, team building, and the overall direction of platform services across APAC. Requirements Extensive experience in fund operations, client servicing, or mandate lifecycle management within asset management or financial services. Proven leadership experience overseeing reporting, regulatory, and client deliverables across multiple jurisdictions. Strong technical knowledge of fund structures, transfer agency, fund accounting, custody services, and APAC regulatory obligations. Demonstrated success managing outsourced service providers and vendor relationships, with focus on operational resilience. Ability to set strategic direction while ensuring effective day-to-day management through direct reports. Experience guiding teams through transition, building new capabilities, and evolving operating models. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse markets and senior levels. Strong governance mindset with a track record of compliance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and innovation. Track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
