Reporting to the Associate Director, Engine Life Management Team (ELMT) Asia Pacific, Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE), you will help to support the engine centers and component repair shops in the overhaul and repair of commercial engines. You will be working in a cross-functional team to provide regional support to both the legacy and PW1000G programs in the growing MRO network across the Asia region. This position is based in Eagle Services Asia (ESA) Singapore – 51 Calshot Road, with deployment to other sites locally and overseas as needed.

What you will do

• Lead a small team to meet expectations and required performance work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability, and other priorities.

• Lead a small team to support the customers in the resolution of field supportability issue with timely hardware disposition in support of shop turnaround time, cost and minimize workscope.

• Ensure that all statutory and Company's regulations and standards relating to technical data requirements are compliant to airworthiness standards and ensure repairs and limits are safe, durable, properly substantiated meeting the quality requirements of the component; perform or oversee analysis and carried out to approved standards.

• Lead a small team to carry out repair design and structural analysis as needed for our technical data needs.

• Act as subject matter expert and provide technical assistance to support the customers in the resolution of field supportability issue with timely hardware disposition in support of shop turnaround time, cost and minimize workscope.

• Trend hardware distress locally to identify needed limits/repairs and input to spare provisioning based on observed distress trending and metrology work as required.

• Research operating environments and functionality of components, their interactions with mating parts, and develop strategies which will return damaged parts back to service.

• Interface with CIPT/CAIPT/Shops to secure priorities and understand programmatic issues and conduct engine investigations.

• Conduct repair process standard work reviews and undertake project work as required.

• Lead a small team to conduct technology work, research and projects in support of shops as required.

• Continue to develop an improved personal understanding of the technologies, engine systems, business systems, regulations and business needs of the company and customers.

• Foster an environment of creative technical ownership and rotation of responsibilities within the collaborative community of the regional ELMT Team.

• Drive CORE for cost-efficient development and execution of programs.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Occasional Global Travel will be required.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical & Production, Materials)

• Possess minimum of 12 years' working experience in Aftermarket and/or similar MRO businesses or 10 years' working experience with Advanced Degrees, and strong technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines may apply Good engineering aptitude and ability to pick and learn independently.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Demonstrated business judgment, communication / presentation, results driven, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Confident / demonstrated communication skills including executive level written and oral presentation proficiency.

• Demonstrated experience with Project Management processes, tools, and techniques, including knowledge and application of CORE and/or similar continuous improvement operating systems.
