Govt Assistant Manager, Content Creation Education

We are seeking a creative and strategic individual to join our communications team as an Assistant Manager, Content. In this role, you will craft engaging, high-impact content across multiple platforms to drive visibility and engagement with diverse audiences, including industry partners, professionals, and prospective students.

  • Salary: Up to $5,500 + Bonuses
  • Location: West

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a content calendar balancing educational and trend-driven posts
  • Create compelling content such as infographics, videos, brochures, and articles for Gen Z and other target audiences
  • Translate research findings and technical information into clear, engaging stories for digital and social channels (IG, LI, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.)
  • Manage social media platforms, engage with communities, and spark conversations around relevant topics
  • Optimise content for SEO to improve reach and visibility
  • Track, analyse, and report on content performance to refine strategies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong copy vetting and writing, editing, and communication skills to present complex data or findings to balance creative content with the accuracy of academic reporting.
  • Experience with SEO, content optimisation, and understanding of analytics tools to measure content performance (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or social media insights).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
