Are you passionate about hedge fund investing, global markets, and deep-dive research?

A rare opportunity is now open at a leading global multi-asset investment platform in Singapore, offering direct exposure to global and Asia markets and multi-manager, multi-strategy investments.

We are seeking a motivated Hedge Fund Analyst to join a collaborative, high-performing team dedicated to top-tier manager research and strategic portfolio construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Singapore-based PM and CIO on global and Asia market research and hedge fund due diligence.
  • Conduct top-down macro and bottom-up fundamental research across asset classes and geographies.
  • Analyze hedge funds and absolute return long-only strategies.
  • Lead and participate in manager interviews, produce investment due diligence memos, and contribute to fund selection decisions.
  • Monitor existing fund investments and maintain active coverage of the alternative investment landscape.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering, Physics, Finance, Investment, Accounting or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in fund of funds, hedge funds, asset management, investment consulting, or sell-side research.
  • Solid knowledge of public markets, hedge fund strategies, and manager selection.
  • Strong Excel modeling and Bloomberg skills; Python/SQL is a bonus but not required.
  • Fluent English communication (4/5 or above); Mandarin is a plus but not essential.
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of producing in-depth research analysis independently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
