Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Market research and deal-sourcing: Research, analyse and synthesize technology and innovation trends (eg. Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity) to identify global investment opportunities aligned with strategic mandates.
  • Build new channels for deal flow while leveraging existing networks for comprehensive opportunity identification.
  • Perform due diligence on potential investments, evaluating commercial viability, risk-reward scenarios, and strategic/financial considerations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to structure investments and negotiate terms effectively.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
  • Manage portfolio performance by analyzing corporate actions and strategy implementation to enhance overall value.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to support business development, management, and branding efforts to improve return on investments.
  • Assist senior management in formulating and implementing corporate strategy and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in investment or related sectors.
  • Exceptional candidates without prior investment experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Additional finance-related qualifications such as an MBA or CFA will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
