What You'll Be Responsible For
- Assisting the Chef de Cuisine in daily cold kitchen operations.
- Leading the preparation and presentation of cold dishes — including appetisers, salads, cold starters, and plated desserts.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
- Supervising and mentoring junior culinary staff.
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop exciting and seasonal cold menu items.
- Managing inventory and procurement of cold kitchen ingredients and supplies.
Who We're Looking For
- Singaporean candidates with prior experience as a Sous Chef, or in a senior cold kitchen role in hotels, upscale restaurants, or catering environments.
- Strong technical skills and a flair for cold food preparation and presentation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
- Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Adaptable and calm under pressure — with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Strong communication skills — spoken and written English required.
