Marine On-Site Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of marine engines, generators, propulsion systems, and related mechanical or electrical systems onboard vessels.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to vessel crews and clients regarding operation and maintenance of marine systems.
  • Travel frequently to domestic and international ports, shipyards, or onboard vessels to perform on-site service jobs.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and records of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with marine engines and generators; experience with propulsion systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including internationally.
  • Knowledge of maritime safety regulations and standards is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in challenging environments.
