Job Summary

We are looking for a Cabinetry Customization Designer / Drafter with strong technical and aesthetic design skills to deliver customized cabinetry solutions that meet client needs and space requirements. Using Coohom as our main design tool, you'll turn measurements and client briefs into stunning and functional 3D presentations — ensuring smooth execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Design

  • Create 3D cabinetry layouts and walkthroughs (wardrobes, kitchens, consoles, etc.)
  • Interpret site measurements and apply them into functional, space-saving designs
  • Customize internal compartments based on usage (drawers, hanger space, pull-outs)
  • Produce technical specs and coordinate with production team for fabrication

Product & Material Knowledge

  • Advise on material choices (e.g., laminate, plywood, quartz) and fittings (e.g., hinges, runners)
  • Understand modular systems and construction feasibility
  • Collaborate with carpenters and site teams to resolve design limitations or changes

Project Collaboration

  • Work with sales consultants, interior designers, project managers, and production to ensure accurate execution
  • Conduct site checks to verify conditions and final measurements
  • Adjust designs according to site conditions or client revisions

Client Interaction

  • Present design concepts and solutions confidently
  • Modify layouts based on feedback and budget
  • Recommend space optimization ideas and guide material selection

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years experience in cabinetry, interior, or kitchen design
  • Proficiency in Coohom is required
  • Familiarity with cabinetry construction and site coordination
  • Strong sense of proportion, design, and functionality
  • Good communication, team spirit, and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to commit to working over the weekend on a shift basis.
  • Experience with modular furniture or carpentry projects
  • Understanding of renovation workflows
