Role Description

The Senior Executive / Executive – Facilities & Security role will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and facilities; as well as to manage a group of technicians, cleaners and security personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in managing and maintaining the buildings and related facilities.

  • Assist the Manager in handling correspondence with tenants and all stakeholders in the day-to-day facilities management matters.

  • Plan, implement and execute preventive maintenance regime and/or ad-hoc upgrading project and monitor the work progress.

  • Source of comparative vendors/sub-contractors to carry out facility maintenance/repair works.

  • Supervise a group of technician, cleaners and security personnel.

  • Conduct toolbox meetings.

  • Service contract administration.

  • Work closely and coordinate with the outsourced security vendors to ensure day-to-day operations and deployment of security personnel at various sites.

  • Manage and monitor the performance of the outsourced security vendors.

  • Develop, review and evaluate processes and procedures and implement best security practices.

  • Conduct physical security and risk vulnerability inspections, evaluate and provide recommendations.

  • Monitor and maintain access to the buildings/sites.

  • Investigate onsite security breaches.

  • Assist in the conduct of regular testing of the alarms and other security systems as and when required.

Requirements

  • NITEC or Diploma in Facility Maintenance or related field of study

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics industry.

  • Able to work well with cross-functional teams across entities / departments.

  • Good communication skills in verbal and written communication.

  • Working hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am - 5.45pm, work on alternate Sat: 8.30am pm)
