What you'll be doing

  • Assist brokers and traders in negotiating freight rates and charter party agreements for Supramax vessels
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and data to identify potential trading opportunities
  • Liaise with clients, ship owners, and other industry professionals to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipments and trades
  • Support the team in conducting market research and generating reports
  • Participate in training and development programmes to expand your industry knowledge

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, transportation, or business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in the shipping industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and documentation
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development
