About the role

This is a full-time Operations Executive (Trainee/Intern) based in suntec city, Suntec Tower 4, providing administrative support to the team at GRANDWOODS TRADING(SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. As an Operations Executive (Trainee/Intern), you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in an administrative role, contributing to the smooth running of the business.

Location: 6 Temasek Boulevard #19-05, Suntec Tower 4, Singapore 038986

What you'll be doing

  • Always communicate with copy to supervisor and all relevant persons in charge of business.
  • Attend email full time to check all the incoming/outgoing mails from other customers and so on in relation to our business
  • Handling of Import and Export LC documentation LC preparation and negotiation Record and report shipment status Issue invoices and give instructions for payments accordingly
  • Prepare sales and purchase contracts/ invoices Handling shipping documents with suppliers and shipping line Monitor and coordinate with suppliers & buyers on shipment
  • Any other ad-hoc duties will be assigned by supervisor

What we're looking for

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Residence
  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Business or Accounting Studies or in a relevant discipline
  • Current students in a relevant discipline are welcome to apply
  • Fluent Mandarin and English skill, be comfort with Mandarin environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and a team player
  • Enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to take on new challenges
