Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing

  • Manage full-cycle monthly entity closing, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Review management accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with group reporting timelines.
  • Maintain and update audit schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, resolving outstanding items promptly.
  • Generate invoices for management fees and intercompany charges, including fee calculations.

Treasury Operations

  • Draft notices related to interest payments and loan repayments.
  • Prepare documentation for bank signatory updates and mandate changes.
  • Assist in developing cash flow projections to support financial planning.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Contribute to the rolling forecast and annual budgeting process, including data preparation and timely submission.

Audit Coordination

  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of subsidiary audits.
  • Support group audit activities and adhere to reporting deadlines.

Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST and Withholding Tax (WHT) submissions.
  • Handle Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and final tax computations.
  • Coordinate with tax agents to ensure timely and accurate filings.

Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Participate in system implementations and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Support management with various ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit
  • Experience in group or multinational company preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)
