We are on the look-out for a detail-oriented and driven tax professional ready to take the next step in their career. Join our dynamic team as a Tax Senior Associate, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns, and supporting schedules for companies, partnerships, and individuals in accordance with relevant tax laws and guidelines.
  • Analyse financial information, assess tax implications of transactions, and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act and IRAS requirements.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify tax issues, obtain necessary information, and provide updates on filing progress.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, review their work, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Monitor engagement timelines and deliverables, making adjustments where necessary to meet statutory deadlines.
  • Handle correspondence with IRAS on queries, objections, and tax rulings, ensuring accurate and professional responses.
  • Support the Tax Partner in tax advisory projects, including restructuring exercises, incentive applications, and other non-routine assignments.

Technical Expertise, Professional Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ISCA.
  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of relevant tax experience in a Singapore professional accounting firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Singapore tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel application.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
