Job Details:

  • To give the whole supply chain the necessary management, leadership, and guidance (including logistics, warehousing, purchasing, and supply planning) to meet goals and objectives for the Singapore hub that are agreed upon annually.
  • To keep up a standardised, cohesive supply network that is adaptable and scalable to fulfil the company's expansion goals. The pursuit of supply chain excellence is highly motivated via projects for ongoing improvement and the creation of best practices.

  • Within a particular business or distribution centre, this function plans, directs, and organises the company's product storage and distribution operations. It reports to the regional supply chain director.
  • Oversees the delivery of supplies and goods, evaluating and suggesting enhancements following protocols to guarantee the timely delivery of supply and goods
  • Participates in the creation of operational strategies for the supply chain that are in line with the larger supply chain.
  • Strategy and regional business plans; by using specialised knowledge and perceptions, constructively challenge approach to make sure it satisfies both commercial needs and the needs of its customers generally.
  • Guarantees a seamless, legal, and compliant supply chain process from beginning to end; policy mandates; develops and promotes a continual improvement approach and mentality
  • Provides the local supply chain budget, together with any intricate evaluations of budget advancement necessary for completion; oversees work within budget
  • Collaborates with customer-facing teams to completely comprehend demand in order to maximise present and future fulfilment of consumer orders

  • Oversees regional distribution and warehousing operations, including the choice and administration of regional partners for third-party distribution
  • Puts supply chain information management solutions into place and encourages their use. procedures for organising, evaluating, and reporting actions and results throughout the supply chain; gathers and evaluates important performance and control data to promote ongoing improvement of supply chain operations.
  • Conveys the steps required to put the local supply chain strategy and business plan into practice. Describes its relationship to the larger purpose, vision, and values within the team; encourages individuals to dedicate themselves to these tasks and to going above and beyond to accomplish corporate objectives.
  • Oversees and documents the supply chain team's performance; establishes suitable team members' performance goals and holds them responsible for reaching them.
  • When necessary, takes appropriate corrective action to ensure the team's and individual goals; encourages stakeholder participation by identifying stakeholders and learning about their requirements, problems, and worries, and responding to these by producing and disseminating information to encourage comprehension and dedication

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in business management, logistics, supply chain management, or a similar discipline.
  • At least ten years of relevant experience in supply chain planning and procurement, with a wide outline of supply chain operations.
  • Strong practical understanding and background in shipping, warehouse management, and leadership oversight.
  • Exhibit a solid grasp of sourcing, purchasing, negotiating, and the supply chain methods
  • Demonstrated capacity for handling various working styles and complexity management.
  • Solid grasp of the concepts and procedures of continuous improvement, including how to create and lead incredibly productive teams
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a track record of gaining support from a variety of stakeholders in an organisational matrix that functions well.
  • A thorough awareness of industry best practices for international logistics, freight, and transportation
  • Mastery of SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Sage, or IFS, among other enterprise resource planning (ERP) programmes.
  • It would be very advantageous to have experience handling the logistics of dangerous goods (DG), including IATA DGR and/or IMDG.
  • Familiarity with the tools and process of continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence (BI) technologies, including PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau, or experience with data analytics.
