Singapore Nearfield Instruments Full time

At Nearfield Instruments we're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The accelerating demand for computing power is pushing chipmakers to their limits — and we're here to help them leap forward. At Nearfield Instruments, our cutting-edge metrology machines play a vital role in advancing semiconductor production. As a Supply Chain Manager, you'll help us scale and optimise our supply chain to support our rapid growth. Are you ready to shape the backbone of our global manufacturing operations and grow your career at the heart of innovation? Join us and see your impact ripple across the tech industry. What you're going to do You'll take ownership of end-to-end supply chain strategies, processes, and performance across our expanding product portfolio. From sourcing and logistics to planning and supplier development, you'll build a resilient and scalable supply chain that aligns with our mission of delivering next-generation metrology solutions. Your main responsibilities include: Designing, implementing and evolving supply chain strategies that support rapid growth, industrialisation and long-term scalability. Leading supplier development and strategic sourcing initiatives that secure quality, cost-effective, and reliable materials and components. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, Engineering, Quality and Service to align supply chain capabilities with business goals. Driving operational improvements by identifying bottlenecks, improving processes, and implementing tools and systems that boost efficiency and transparency. Managing logistics and inventory planning to balance availability, flexibility, and cost efficiency across global operations. Travelling occasionally to suppliers and partners to support onboarding, audits, and relationship development. For senior profiles: Mentoring and developing team members to build a proactive, capable supply chain function ready to scale with the company. Contributing to the evolution of our systems, helping us meet future technological, market and operational challenges head-on. Who you'll be working with You'll join our growing, international Operations and Supply Chain team. We're analytical, pragmatic and solution-focused, united by the drive to build a world-class supply chain. We foster a transparent and collaborative culture, welcoming your ideas and initiatives. Our scale-up environment gives you room to take ownership and grow — both in your role and your career. What you'll get Who you are You have a keen eye for processes and a sharp instinct for risk and opportunity. You're equally comfortable diving into operational challenges as you are thinking strategically about scale and structure. In a dynamic production environment, you thrive under complexity, make data-driven decisions, and build strong relationships both internally and externally. You also have: A bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; For senior profiles: At least 7 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain roles in high-tech or manufacturing environments, ideally with a global supplier base; Proven experience in areas like strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, or production planning; Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain planning tools; experience with digital transformation initiatives is a plus; Strong analytical, project management and communication skills; A hands-on, pragmatic mindset — you don't just optimise on paper, you get things done; A working command of written and spoken English (our company language). Who we are At Nearfield Instruments, we develop, build and service breakthrough 3D metrology solutions that enable chipmakers to produce smaller, faster and more powerful devices. Our high-throughput systems — the QUADRA and AUDIRA platforms — help leading semiconductor companies monitor and control the most advanced process nodes. Founded in 2016, we're a fast-growing scale-up with around 250 talented minds from across the globe. We bring together physics, mechanics, software and systems engineering — and now supply chain leadership — to push the limits of what's possible. #J-18808-Ljbffr
