What you'll do:

As an AI/ML Researcher, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation. Your primary responsibility will be conducting novel research in areas including but not limited to computer vision (CV), natural language processing (NLP), automatic speech recognition (ASR), etc. You will design, implement, and optimize algorithms for various applications employing supervised, self-supervised, semi-supervised, or unsupervised learning. In addition, you will collaborate with partners and engineers to apply your research findings to real-world problems.

• Conduct novel and cutting-edge research in AI and machine learning.
• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms and models for various applications.
• Collaborate with partners and engineers to apply research findings to real-world problems.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and Research leads on scientific progress, insight, and research direction.
• Contribute to other program-related projects.
• Collaborate with engineering team to translate researched technology (low TRL) to engineering (high TRL).
• Adhere to ethical research and coding best practices with timely documentation and updates.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the AI/ML Researcher position should possess a PhD or Master degree in a relevant technical field along with 3 years of experience in research and development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C/C++ is essential. Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate an analytical mindset with adept problem-solving skills and a strong drive to deliver optimal solutions within tight timelines.

• PhD or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in research and development.
• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP): Involved in core areas of large language models (LLMs), such as joint entity-relation extraction, information retrieval, prompt engineering, reasoning, sentiment analysis, and identifying LLM vulnerabilities.
• Experience in Generative AI: Focused on generating high-quality synthetic data for use in model training, testing, and performance enhancement.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C/C++.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, and/ or PyTorch.
• Demonstrate an analytical mindset with adept problem-solving skills.
• Stay abreast of the latest research developments in AI through literature review.
• Exhibit a strong drive to deliver optimal solutions within tight timelines.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
