Overview:

We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for the maritime sector. You'll partner with clients to solve real business challenges, architect production-ready AI systems, and translate complex technology into clear business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify client opportunities and translate business problems into AI/ML solutions
  • Design end-to-end AI systems, from data assessment to production deployment
  • Build functional prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) with clean, scalable code
  • Assess data readiness, recommend governance frameworks, and improve data quality
  • Research latest AI trends (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, Deep Learning) and apply insights
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate prototypes into full-scale development
  • Present AI strategies and ROI clearly to senior leaders and clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's/Ph.D. preferred)
  • 4 years' experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, preferably client-facing
  • Strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and core ML libraries
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs (e.g., LangChain), and MLOps practices
  • Proficiency in GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions), Docker, and Kubernetes concepts
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and distributed computing
  • Track record of delivering AI solutions in production (publications or shipped products a plus)
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
