Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of M&E EPC and EPCM projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering and cleanroom construction with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:

  2. Lead the end-to-end management of M&E EPC and EPCM projects, ensuring that all project objectives are met in accordance with contractual agreements and company standards.

  3. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and budget estimates.
  4. Ensure effective coordination and management of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  5. Monitor and control project progress, implementing corrective actions when necessary to keep the project on track.
  6. Budget and Cost Management:

  7. Manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met and that costs are controlled.

  8. Prepare and review financial reports, tracking expenditures, forecasts, and project profitability.
  9. Ensure effective cost management strategies to optimize project efficiency and profitability.
  10. Team Leadership and Coordination:

  11. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

  12. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  13. Ensure effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure alignment with project goals.
  14. Risk Management and Compliance:

  15. Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

  16. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  17. Manage project changes, including scope adjustments, contract modifications, and stakeholder expectations.
  18. Contract and Stakeholder Management:

  19. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.

  20. Oversee contract negotiations, manage contractual obligations, and ensure all project deliverables are met in line with client expectations.
  21. Quality Assurance and Control:

  22. Implement quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

  23. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
  24. Project Reporting:

  25. Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and milestones.

  26. Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project management within the M&E EPC/EPCM industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, process system, cleanroom system, as well as construction methodologies, codes, and standards.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration. Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex project challenges and deliver high-quality results.
  • Mobility: As when needed
