Our client is seeking a Technical Manager (Electrical) to join their team

Joining as a Technical Manager (Electrical) offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate in the dynamic field of electrical engineering. You will be instrumental in shaping the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about electrical engineering and eager to make a significant impact.

What you'll be doing?
  • Develop strategies: Create and implement successful design strategies for projects, ensuring smooth collaboration among multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Oversee design: Use technical expertise to oversee the design process, advising on materials and procurement to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance: Review designs with health and safety in mind, ensuring strict compliance with contractual requirements and Singapore standards.
  • Manage documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of the design process, managing all aspects of the project to ensure timely and budgetary delivery.
  • Stay updated: Keep abreast of changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design.
  • Prepare technical documents: Prepare and submit Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and Drawings for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Who are they looking for?
  • Experience: At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a Technical Manager (Electrical Engineering).
  • Educational background: A Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with relevant design experience is required.
  • Professional registration: Candidates who are Professional Engineers registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will have an advantage.
  • Personal attributes: Be independent, analytical, highly motivated, with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
