Our client is a major player in the global chemical industry, known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician/specialist to become the go-to specialist for all process analyzers on site. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the plant's online measurement systems, which are essential for maintaining product quality and operational safety.
Your Responsibilities- Hands-on Maintenance & Calibration: Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance, calibration, and functional testing on a variety of process analyzers, including Gas Chromatographs (GCs) and gas detectors.
- Operational Support & Troubleshooting: Liaise directly with the operations team to address analyzer performance issues, troubleshoot failures, and ensure online measurements are accurate by performing cross-checks with laboratory results.
- Vendor & Documentation Management: Coordinate with external service vendors, maintain detailed instrument logbooks, and ensure all technical documentation is kept up-to-date.
- Safety & Compliance: Execute all tasks in strict compliance with the site's established safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
- A NITEC or Diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Chemical Process Technology, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering).
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the maintenance of process analyzers within a Chemical, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas plant environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of various analyzer types and a commitment to safe work practices.
