Senior Sales Manager, Wholesale Distribution, SEA, Global Asset Manager

Our client, a leading global asset manager with a strong presence in Asia, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their Wholesale Distribution team. The role will be responsible for driving business growth in Singapore, Malaysia, and potentially the Philippines, with a specific focus on insurance and digital platforms.
Responsibilties:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving sales growth and market penetration in the region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing excellent customer service and identifying opportunities
- Prepare and deliver presentations to asset managers, fund selection units, and end investors on topics such as market outlook, funds, and firm capabilities
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in Southeast Asia to inform business development efforts
- Drive sales and asset retention in existing funds and relationships, while expanding the number of funds in existing relationships
- Fulfill day-to-day servicing and reporting needs of clients
- Create sales materials, including presentations, placemats, brochures, and write-ups
- Collaborate with the marketing team to prepare and execute joint sales and marketing campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, opportunities, and pipeline status, providing regular updates to senior management using Salesforce.
Requirement:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in selling mutual fund products in the financial industry is preferred. However, candidates with 5-7 years of experience may be considered for a Junior Manager role.
