We are seeking a Claims Executive with a strong accounting background to manage the end-to-end financial reconciliation and claims processes for a growing private healthcare group. This role focuses on financial accuracy, claims reconciliation, and compliance with MOH and CPF Medisave regulations, supporting both clinic operations and group finance functions. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and external institutions to ensure that all claims are submitted, tracked, and accounted for correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Accounting & Reconciliation:

  • Prepare and submit MediSave and e-claims through the MediClaims portal in line with MOH / CPF regulations.
  • Perform detailed reconciliation of claim submissions vs. payments received from institutions (e.g. CPF Board, insurers, hospitals).
  • Investigate and resolve payment variances, shortfalls, or delays; follow up with relevant parties for resolution.
  • Track claims receivables and ensure timely recognition of revenue and reimbursements in the accounting system.
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure claims entries are accurately recorded for month-end closing.

Financial operations & Reporting:

  • Update and maintain claims summary and reconciliation schedules for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required for month-end and year-end financial closing .
  • Ensure correct accounting treatment for claims, refunds, and adjustments according to Group policies.
  • Support the Finance team in preparing audit deliverables related to claims, billing, and Medisave transactions.
  • Highlight claim trends, discrepancies, or recurring issues to management for process improvement.

Compliance & Process Controls:

  • Ensure all claims submissions comply with CPF Board and MOH Medisave regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all claims transactions.
  • Adhere to internal control procedures, payment cut-off timelines, and audit requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives in claims accounting workflows.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (e.g. Business Administration with accounting modules).
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, AP/AR, billing, or claims reconciliation — preferably in healthcare or multi-entity environments.
  • Familiarity with MediClaims portal and CPF Medisave guidelines is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (e.g. reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations) and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with accounting or finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, PLATO) is advantageous.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and able to work with large volumes of financial data accurately.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal Finance teams, clinic operations, and external institutions.
  • Singapore Citizens/PRs preferred due to regulatory handling of MediSave claims.
