Responsibility & Accountability

  • Responsibility & Accountability is a key element of BWO QHSE framework to achieve the Company's core value highlighted in QHSE Policy.
  • Be aware of Company Integrated Management System policies and procedures
  • Be responsible for the safety of the operation and implementation of the HELP Program.
  • Be accountable for the effectiveness and the safety of processes associated with this specific positions duty & responsibility as identified in the IMS
  • Work closely with the Procurement personnel & relevant Logistics personnel.
  • Manage the logistical process whereby goods are received from local vendors or from freight forwarders outside of the local environment.
  • Manage the logistical preparations for delivery of materials to Rig via local shore base services.
  • Coordinate transport of materials to and from Rig in compliance with approvals from Client and relevant local authorities.
  • Ensure materials required for Rig are dispatched at the appropriate time.
  • Ensure that correct documentation exists for transportation of materials from the shore base facility to the Rig.
  • Provide support to and collaborate with the Procurement personnel – Administration in the execution of the following activities:
  • Coordinate customs clearance for imports.
  • Maintain required documents received during the customs clearance activity.
  • Maintain well organized records / files / registers / Cargo Manifests documents and any other documents required for the shore base support office.
  • In most local environments, creates, in ERP system, the Material Receipt and Transport Document to capture items bought and delivered from local vendors.
  • Plan and do routine & non-routine activity always considering safety and environment aspects and associated impacts, and always seek opportunities for improvement.

Qualification & Skill requirements

  • College degree preferred.
  • Logistics, Procurement, Materials Coordinator experience desirable
  • Computer literacy.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good knowledge of English language, both spoken and written
  • Good communication skills.
