Supervisor (Dealing with White Glove services in Data Centre/East/Bonus)

Responsibilities: -
- Manage and oversee all stages of "white glove" deliveries, including the careful loading, transportation, unloading, and precise placement of sensitive IT equipment (e.g., servers, racks, and networking gear).
- Lead, guide, and motivate a team of white glove technicians and assistants, promoting a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and safety.
- Plan and organize daily schedules and task assignments for the team, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for each project.
- Conduct pre-delivery briefings and on-site risk assessments to identify potential issues and confirm that all necessary equipment and protocols are ready.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and clean-room procedures.
- Maintain full compliance with the data center's safety and access protocols at all times.
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact, overseeing the entire process and resolving any operational challenges in real-time.
- Serve as the main communication link with the "Control Tower" or central operations team, providing regular updates on project status, delays, and milestones.
- Coordinate with data center operators and client representatives, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with all facility rules and regulations.
- Take proactive steps to manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and completion while minimizing the risk of service-level agreement (SLA) breaches.
Requirements: -
- Min 2 years experience in logistics, data center operations, or a similar high-stakes operational environment.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
- Experience in a "white glove" or precision logistics setting, with a strong understanding of handling high-value IT equipment.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good mix of business and systems knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
