About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at VIBTECH GENESIS PTE LTD. You will be a key member of the execution team, responsible in providing expert mechanical engineering services and predictive maintenance solutions to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct comprehensive condition monitoring and diagnostic assessments of static and rotating equipment and systems
  2. Develop and implement tailored predictive maintenance strategies to optimize asset performance and lifespan
  3. Carry out installations, M&E works, troubleshooting, testing & commissioning, and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to support successful system implementation
  4. Analyze equipment data, identify issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  5. Provide technical support and training to clients on the effective use of predictive maintenance technologies
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
  7. Document all activities and maintain detailed records of equipment condition and maintenance history, generating technical reports in compliance with ISO standards.
  8. Provide hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting support for both static and rotating equipment, including participation in Root Cause Analysis to resolve complex mechanical problems
  9. Ensure all works, whether carried out by internal teams or contractors, comply with HSE standards and Permit-to-Work requirements

What we're looking for

  1. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience, or a Diploma with extensive experience, with a focus on predictive maintenance
  2. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vibration analysis, thermography, and other condition monitoring techniques
  3. Solid skills in vibration analysis, balancing, shaft alignment, ultrasound leak detection, and other condition monitoring techniques
  4. Proficient in interpreting equipment data and diagnosing mechanical issues
  5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality engineering services
  7. Certified Vibration Analysis CAT II is preferred
  8. A valid Class 3 driving license is required
