Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budget, and company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process including tendering, bid evaluation, award recommendation, and contract management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and subcontractor relationships to support long-term collaboration.
  • Work closely with project, engineering, QS, and site teams to forecast procurement needs and manage material delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives, value engineering, and risk management strategies in procurement.
  • Maintain proper documentation, procurement records, and audit trails in line with ISO/QMS standards.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, suppliers, subcontractors, and contract terms.
  • Proven negotiation, contract management, and cost-control skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Familiar with procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
