Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts and monthly closings for multiple entities.
  • Prepare group consolidation reports and ensure accurate intercompany transactions.
  • Complete month end and year end closings on time in line with FRS and IFRS.
  • Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries during annual audit and filing.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for review.
  • Support management with financial data and analysis for decision making.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including accounting inputs and variance explanations.
  • Manage corporate tax, GST or VAT, and withholding tax filings across regions.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants on cross border matters such as Malaysia CP204 and Dubai CT.
  • Monitor transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions to ensure arm's length compliance, with proper documentation for all entities.
  • Maintain complete documentation to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee monthly payroll for teams in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Ensure CPF, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB submissions are accurate and on time.
  • Work with HR and vendors on payroll reconciliation and related reports.
  • Monitor group cash flow and manage intercompany loans and bank facilities.
  • Manage Euler Hermes trade credit insurance, including credit limit applications and renewals, declarations, overdue monitoring, and claim follow up.
  • Liaise with the insurer and the sales team on credit coverage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in full set accounting and group reporting.
  • Exposure to environments with several entities and currencies.
  • Practical expertise in transfer pricing monitoring, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
  • Knowledge of intercompany loan tracking, trade credit insurance with Euler Hermes, and treasury administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, cross-border accounting, and compliance regulations.
  • Prior manufacturing, distribution, or trading experience is an advantage.
