About the Role

Join our team as a Production Planner and take charge of end-to-end production planning in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll coordinate with procurement and operations to align inventory with sales forecasts, lead monthly planning meetings, and ensure accurate data management in SAP. Your proactive approach to monitoring tank levels, tracking KPIs, and driving process improvements will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Production Planning Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end production planning to align inventory with sales forecasts, ensuring timely production by coordinating with procurement and operations, and adapting plans to address disruptions

Month-End Closing

· Lead month-end closing process in SAP, including data validation and reconciliation; Ensure accuracy and integrity of production and inventory data in SAP

Tank Level Monitoring

· Monitor and adjust tank levels in real time to prevent shortages or overflows, especially during disruptions, while keeping stakeholders informed of potential impact

Production Planning Meeting

· Lead monthly production planning meetings, providing updates on inventory status, production plan and key highlight & risks for the 6-12 months planning horizon.

Leadership and coaching

· Provide daily guidance and coaching to assistant planner, ensuring clarity in task execution and develop and implement an individual growth plan for succession planning.

KPI monitoring

· Monitor key production planning KPIs—such as inventory status, reschedule index, planning accuracy, and sales forecast accuracy—and proactively identify improvement opportunities when targets are exceeded.

Process improvement

· Collaborate with other departments on process improvement or cost optimization initiatives and take ownership in leading root cause analysis when error occurs.

REQUIREMENTS

1)    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).

2)    Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or a production planning role. Chemical industry preferred.

3)    Strong understanding of MRP, production scheduling, and inventory control principles.

4)    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions (pivot table, vlookup, sumifs), charts, and basic data analysis.

5)    Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

6)    Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

7)    Strong analytical mindset and strong numerical skills will be advantageous for problem-solving and data analysis tasks.

8)    Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes in production priorities
