Responsibilities:

  • To provide general support to the Production Manager and ensure the production schedules and planning is able to operate on time.
  • To assists in scheduling, planning and forecasting inventory requirements in order to maintains a smooth running and efficient department.
  • To assists generating Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecasting inventory requirements, optimizing inventory levels as well as helping the organization evaluate and implement an inventory management system.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Production, Purchasing and Inventory Teams to plan, monitor inventory levels, and to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Review sales forecasts, customer demands, and schedule production orders based on inventory levels and production lead times.
  • Take part in the logistics planning for raw materials and work in progress.
  • Take charge of planning and making tactical buying decisions and execute purchasing strategies and handle repeat buy.
  • Coordinate production material requirements with marketing or purchasing to assure adequate inventory of raw materials and packaging.
  • Assist to maintain bills of material for production processes.
  • Responsible for accurate raw materials and work in progress inventory level.
  • Assist to oversee production planning and management activities with the organization.
  • Assist to develop production planning and timelines according to production specifications.
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
  • Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Notify Marketing Team on any delays and outages.
  • Maintaining of ISO documentations.
  • Others ad hoc duty as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering/Business Management/Equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Production Material Planning Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Self-Motivated
  • Able to work independently with initiative
  • Able to work under pressure
