Role Summary:
Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We're looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the leading QSR industry.
We're looking for a Social Lead / Community Manager who lives and breathes digital culture, someone who understands what makes people engage, share, and connect. You'll be the bridge between our brand and its community, leading the charge in building meaningful relationships, creating conversations, and driving engagement across social platforms.
Role:
- Lead and manage the social media strategy across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Build, grow, and engage online communities — fostering genuine connections and advocacy.
- Oversee daily community management, including content moderation, feedback loops, and conversation tracking.
- Plan and execute content calendars, social campaigns, and always-on activations that align with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with the creative team and ensure social strategies are data-informed and creatively strong.
- Monitor trends, social listening insights, and platform updates to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
- Manage reporting, social performance tracking, and continuous optimisation to drive measurable results.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class social strategies and community experiences.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of social platforms, audience behaviour, and online community dynamics.
- Proven ability to develop and execute social strategies that drive engagement and growth.
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable analysing metrics and turning insights into actions.
- A passion for storytelling, culture, and digital innovation.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
