Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The role of this Clinical Sales Manager in MedTech – Electrophysiology is to oversee and plan clinical support in EP (Electrophysiology) catheterization labs and designated hospitals or territories. Responsibilities include selling and promoting Electrophysiology products, technology & solutions among current and potential customers. The role requires close collaboration with regional Marketing & Professional education teams, effective communication skills, and strong capability building with team members. The primary focus is on Singapore and specific territories within Malaysia, aligned with business goals and objectives.

Role Description
Clinical support

• Develop understanding and familiarity with the clinical EP environment and competitor products; continuously enhance EP knowledge and coach team members.
• Work closely with the Business Unit Manager on key account management, understanding local processes and regulations.
• Lead and support EP cases, optimize Carto Experience (OCE) products or modules, and handle system troubleshooting during cases.
• Coordinate clinical procedures and schedules.
• Customize product conversations to ensure proper understanding and utilization.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to meet customer needs.
• Manage various heart arrhythmias and collaborate with KOLs in respective markets.

Sales

• Plan and achieve business and sales goals.
• Analyze market information, including procurements, competitors, and partners; conduct benchmarking exercises.
• Prepare pricing offers and respond to public procurements, respecting deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of the clinical EP environment and competitors' products.
• Deliver presentations and educational sessions to partners, introduce new products and techniques, and provide training for optimal product use.
• Manage product launches, sponsorships, workshops, and events.
• Participate in industry symposia and medical meetings; monitor industry trends.
• Engage in commercial negotiations with stakeholders and tender committees.

Operational

• Manage expenses related to advertising, promotions, CME, and sponsorship budgets.
• Submit timely reports, forecasts, and adhere to company processes.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on pricing, procurement, and consignment management.
• Handle quality complaints following company procedures.
• Collaborate with support functions and departmental heads.
• Attend meetings on demand planning, product changes, launch excellence, and leadership engagements.

Requirements

• University Degree (preferably in Technical, Biomedical, or Medical fields).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular/Electrophysiology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• People management experience is an advantage.
• Organized project management skills with stakeholder interaction.
• Customer-focused with proactive program and project execution.
• Analytical and systematic data handling ability.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• High energy, responsibility, and engagement.
• Willingness to travel locally and within Southeast Asia.
• Valid driving license.
• Fluent in English (spoken/written), with presentation skills.
